Featuring Gregory Toro (bass) Lihi Haruvi (sax), and Dor Herskovits (drums), and rooted in the jazz and creative music tradition, the Collective draws on eclectic influences ranging from Messiaen and John Coltrane to Joni Mitchell and System of a Down. This quartet paints David’s adventurous compositions in vivid color with equal parts sensitivity and daring, inviting you into a soundscape at turns intimate and exhilarating but always deeply felt and open to the present moment.

A collaboration with violinist Julia Connor, Room to Spare is a chamber duo built on the pair’s original, improvisation-rich compositions and evocative, virtuosic instrumentalism. At once a gathering place for and conversation between Julia and David’s wide ranging musical influences and backgrounds, Room to Spare dissolves barriers between diverse musical vocabularies—from jazz and classical to folk, rock, and pop— inviting listeners into a genre-defying music of striking immediacy.
